
Trekking in East Nepal Region includes an eastern approach to Everest, Rolwaling and Makalu . The eastern region of Nepal is remote. So, it is not so popular like other regions (Annpurna, Langtang, Everest) but this region has endless variety of places to explore, hiking climbing and village excursion tour. East Nepal region has the ethnic castes like Rai, Tamang, Sherpa, Limbu etc having their own culture. To make trips to eastern mountains, either domestic flight or long journey by bus is necessary. The main domestic airports are Tumlingtar, Lamidada and Taplejung which have direct connection with Katmandu.
The main attraction of this area are panoramic views of eastern mountains, Kumbakarna, Jannu Peak, Tent Peak, Givigela Chule, Chang Himal, Pathibhara, Olangchumgola (Newly opened), Pumori, Arun valley etc. This area has numbers of flora and fauna.
