Day 01 Kathmandu - Pokhara ( m):
Drive to Pokhara about 6/7hours.
Day 02 Pokhara - Baral Gaon ( m):
Drive to Begnas Tal ( Begnas Lake ) and begin walking towards to Baral Gaon. The members along the low ridge with some superb view of the surrounding are. We pass through several villages. At some of these villages they sell smoked fish freshly caught from Begnas Tal. From these ridges we descend Mardi Khola which has its source at the Annapurna glacier. It could take about 5 hours to reach at camp spot.
Day 03 Baral Gaon - Ghyanrung ( m):
An easy day`s walk descending to about 1500m meters, as we follow the valley of the Mardim, the Annapurna summits come into view above the foothill ridge top. We will pass though villages, farmlands and scattered forest, It could takes seven hours altogether and overnight at camp.
Day 04 Ghyanrung - Siklis ( m):
Gradually gaining height of another 305 meters, crossing the Madi Khola and then climb steeply vantage point we can have excellent view of Lamjung, Annapurna IV and Annapurna II. It is about 6h30 walk .
Day 05 Siklis - Chipli ( m):
Leaving the gorge of the Mardi Khola, we climb west for about 5 hours to arrive at Chipli. The trail from Siklis to Chipli is very narrow with a steep descend. Extra care is required while tacking this stretch. Over night at camp.
Day 06 Chipli - Brujung Khola ( m):
A long day of steady climb sees us at a ridge followed by a long descend to the Seti Khola through forest pathway. It is a long day walk which may take about 8 hours and camp.
Day 07 Brujung Khola - Pokhara:
A relatively easy walk along the Seti River to reach in Pokhara .
Day 08 Pokhara - Kathmandu:
Drive back to Kathmandu . |
