Day 01: Drive out from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar early in the morning by bus and drive to Syange (1100m) by jeep, overnight at lodge. (This route crosses Nadi because now there is part of road built and many jeeps are driving and people stop to do trekking.)
Day 02: Trek from Syange to Tal (1700m) and overnight at lodge
Day 03: Trek from Tal to Bagarchhap (2,160m) and overnight at lodge.
Day 04: Bagarchhap to Chame (2,630m), Chame is district headquarter and available Police
station, School, Health Post, Post Office, Bank, telephone and internet services.
Annapurna II 7,935m, IV 7,525m, Langtang Himal 6,986m are visible.
Day 05: Chame to Pisang (3,190m): The trail goes along the river and pine forest, comfortable walk.
Overnight at lodge.
Day 06: Pisang to Manang (3,535m.) A beautiful walking day along pine forest and flat trail
with beautiful view of Annapurna mountain ranges. Manang is the last beautiful
Himali settlement where you will have nice and comfortable lodges and
restaurants.
Day 07: Rest at Manang : An acclimates day. There is a good opportunity to climb to the
north ridge of the village for the view of Annapurna II & IV Glacier Dome and other
excellent scenarios. Also Gangapurna Glacier Lake and Khangsar village.
Day 10: Manang to Thorong Phedi (4220m): A high altitude but smooth walk to the last
place of Manang valley to have overnight at lodge and preparation for crossing the
Thorong – La 5416m) next day.
Day 11: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m.) Trekkers should prepare to walk early in the morning from lodge to cross the pass easily and avoiding the strong cold wind. On the way tea houses are available but no place for lunch. Arrive at Muktinath after long walking and hard day and rest at lodgfe and guest houses.
Day 12: Muktinath is the most beautiful village by culturally and naturally. There are famous temple and monasteries to visit in the morning, after lunch trek down to Kagbeni (2800m). Visit nice village in the evening and overnight at guest house.
Day 13: Kagbeni to Kalopani (2,530m.) ; The trek becomes easier as the trail follows a descent, the natural beauties are unforgettable. One may enjoy along the route the view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I and so on.
Day 14: Kalopani to Tatopani (1,689m) : Tatopani means ‘hot water’ in Nepali, Thus there is natural spring of hot water and very pleasure accommodation for rest.
Day 15: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,775m.) The trail climb up again to Ghorepani, after long walking day there are lot of lodges to stay comfortable. Panoramic views of Dhaulagiri I Tukuche, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Nilgiri Himchuli, Glacier Dome during walking and from Ghorepani.
Day 16: Ghorepani to Tikhedhunga orHile and overnight.
Day 17: Hile to Birethanti and drive to Pokhara, overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Back to KTM from Pokhara |
